I took these photos of my son in March while on holidays in Port Macquarie. After waking up from his afternoon nap he was a bit grumpy and I managed to capture the changes in his face as he woke up back to his normal cheerful self. I chose to continue the photos across the join in the double layout. This was the first time I'd tried this, it was a bit tricky to cut the photos carefully enough that when laid together the join isn't noticeable but I'm happy with the result.
The colours of the Up Up and Away range from Kaisercraft were perfect to complement the neutral colours in the photos and the chipboard embellishments were a fun addition to the layout, the hot air balloons especially complement the theme of my layout. I chose to ink around the edges of my photos and papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink to go with the vintage theme of the papers.
TFL. Till next time.
